- Yoga – The Gift of Grace
Yoga - The Gift of Grace course is for everyone, whether you have only recently come to Yoga or have been practising for some time already or are a Yoga teacher. This is a course about the true, transformative power of Yoga. It is a course about what Yoga truly is, the Yoga of the Spirit. Yoga, practised in this, its correct context, teaches us how to be completely ourselves; to live with balance, equanimity and ease, to respond to life’s ups and downs from a place of inner peace. I call this Grace and it is the great gift of Yoga. Grace is compassionate, peaceful, wise and loving, and always present inside us. We have just forgotten it is there, because we are so busy looking for it outside. Yoga shows us the way to Grace and we can all receive this gift. This is as true for the Beginner as for anyone else. So, if you would like to use Yoga to develop more joy, greater awareness, deeper compassion and improved well-being, then this course is for you.

'Sarve bhavantu sukhinah, sarve santu niramahah, sarve bhadrani pashyantu, ma kaschid duhkha bhag bhavet' May everyone be happy, may everyone be healthy, may everyone see the truth and may all suffering come to an end.

Yoga - The Gift of Grace - Modules
This is a 6-module course exploring the transformative philosophy (and practice) of Yoga, and how it leads us to experience our deepest nature, which is Grace.
1. Who am I?: Learn how to connect with the deepest aspect of our Self, to avoid the suffering that comes from mis-identifying who we truly are, our inner ‘life-principle’, with our perceptions, emotions and thoughts.
2. The Causes of Suffering: How understanding the root causes of our unhappiness can free us from suffering and can create joy. Learn to live in present awareness.
3. Positive Living: Learn to create positive habits, to harmonise our relationship to ourself, to others, to ‘things’, to nutrition, to the body, mind and Spirit, to live with freedom and ease, even in tough times.
4. Creating balance: Learn to mitigate stress - Yoga and Ayurveda evolved specific techniques for creating physical, emotional and mental health and well-being in response to the pressures that life inevitably throws at us.
5. Rest and Reset: Learn how to give yourself a holiday everyday, allowing us to let go of the voice in our head, with its negative tendencies, and to find peace, despite the mayhem!
6. Living in the Present: Learn to experience the deep inner stability and peace, the Grace that is your deepest nature, and live a life of compassion, awareness, purpose and meaning.

Testimonials for previous philosophy courses
The course opened up the incredible benefits of the entire system of Yoga; modules comprised great discussions on the philosophy within some of the key yoga texts; practical instruction on different meditation techniques; guided relaxations and much, much more. They just flew by too quickly! I have learned so much on the course…about yoga, about my own mind, about paths to increase my overall happiness and well-being. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. If you do only one thing next year to increase your quality of life and that of those around you, please take the opportunity to do this course. I loved it. S. Meghen
The course was an incredible source of information for me in so many ways. Having both Paula and David’s never-ending philosophical knowledge as guidance along with reading both the Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita and many fascinating discussions about them have helped me so much not only for my own daily practice but also to overcome obstacles I thought I had – in my body as well as in my mind! Developing and really deepening my understanding of Yoga has actually changed my life and it wouldn’t have been without this course. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is interested to dive deeper into a yogic lifestyle - no better teachers to guide you along the way! S. Hayes
I asked David for advice as to what I could do to dive deeper into the field of yoga, saying that I wanted the whole package: not only anatomy stuff or a mere focus on asanas but also pranayama and yoga philosophy. David suggested I try the philosophy course. It was a bit of a challenge to organize travelling from Germany but in the end, it was just meant to be, and I ended up flying to Dublin once a month. I can say the effort was all worth it, or better said: at the end of the day, it didn’t even feel like a big commitment, as I got back so much more out of it than I put into it. It was far more than I expected. With their profound knowledge and deep experience David and Paula even made the Yoga Sutras and Bhagavad Gita accessible to us. We received so many comprehensible and down-to earth recommendations how to apply the principles of Yoga into our everyday lives. So, everyone who wants to take the journey to live a more peaceful and content life with the help of Yoga shouldn’t miss this great opportunity, and as a nice side-effect it is health-boost for the body as well.
